Colin Farnum

Seasoned food science/business professional
Colin is a seasoned food science/business professional with 40+ years of food experience in some of the largest food companies in Canada. 

He has worked in diverse food categories ranging from peanut butter, natural and processed cheese, whipped toppings, baking mixes, drink crystals, frozen pie and tart shells, meat pies, frozen potato products, canned meats and processed meats. He has led teams responsible for product and process development, cost containment and reduction in all of the afore mentioned categories with responsibility for teams of 5 to 20 food science professionals. He is passionate about food innovation and mentoring those with entrepreneurial passion. In addition to being a Board Member of Food Starter, he serves in a similar role with Bioenterprise.
