Identify your Value Proposition in 60 Seconds

At Food Starter, we gather the best trainers we can to help our clients hone their business skills and get to market fast!  One of our specialists who adds tremendous value at the Market Feasibility stage is Sima Gandhi.  A seasoned entrepreneur herself, she’s also well practiced in using the Business Model Canvas tools.

Recently Sima wowed not just a group of 10 of our entrepreneurs but also our executive director when she showed us the simple diagram above. What’s going on here? It’s a value proposition for a nut butter product!

By answering two questions about how a consumer will feel before and after using a food product, she derived their value proposition. In this case: that the client’s nut butter product helps to rejuvenate and energize consumers who need a protein boost to get them through the day, their workout, or the next staff meeting!
